I have no idea how to solicit artists to create an avatar or logo or splash for this site. The phoenix was always a placehold for something unique to me. As it would turn out, my teen daughter is honing her skills as an amateur artist. I told her many months ago that I would commission her for a new site logo. Due to her lack of urgency, she apparently did not understand what “commission” means.
But she does now!
She captured me perfectly, because I’m typing on my laptop sitting next to a stack of books on my desk that reach over my head. Now that I’ve finished several of my outstanding commitments, I can get back to it.
I’ve already told her that I need an icon now, and I have an idea….
